Moscow was viciously cold. The sun was out only on the afternoon I arrived, whilst I was in bed recuperating from two hard nights of travelling. It snowed a lot, the grey skies sucked the colour out of the landscape and the wind drove people to vodka. In other words, exactly what you'd expect of Moscow in March.
